What you can do in the app

What filing alerts mean

An alert tells you that a filing has become public. It does not mean the trade happened that day.

Members of Congress usually have up to 45 days to disclose a trade under the STOCK Act. A filing published today may describe a trade from several weeks ago.

We check House disclosures every hour. Senate coverage is still expanding. When we find a new filing:

1. You receive one alert for the filing.
2. The alert names the politician and tells you how many trades were reported.
3. Tapping it opens the full filing.

The filing shows the transaction date, filing date, trade type and reported amount range. It also links to the stock page, where you can view the trade on a price chart.

Choose the alerts you want

Push notifications are off until you turn them on. Open notification settings to choose what you receive:

• Politician alerts for new filings from people you follow
• Stock alerts for watched stocks
• Portfolio alerts for changes to portfolios you follow
• Weekly summaries by email

You can change these settings at any time.
