VA Hospital Inventory Management System Authorization Act

This bill authorizes the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to purchase or develop and implement a cloud-based information technology system for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) to manage inventory. If the VA purchases or develops such a system, the VA must implement a pilot program at one VHA facility before implementing the system throughout the entire VA to determine whether the functions of the system are satisfactory.
